Hi, my name is MJ, founder of PITTFANS

I have been a Diehard Steelers fan since the 1970s (when I was a young boy). Although I'm from Tennessee a lot of Steelers fans would always think I was from Pittsburgh. The truth is, I Love my Steelers and Pittsburgh people are my kind of People!

But I simply got fed up and tired of paying these high prices for merch that had "official" everything with logos everywhere and it all looked like everyone else's stuff! Even the quality didn't feel right!

So, I asked this question.... "Do I need a bunch of logos and "official" patches everywhere that look like everyone else's stuff?" NO. I just want fun, cool designs that represent Pittsburgh, my favorite sport, and me... the fan!

I couldn't find it.

I know how passionate Pittsburgh fans are...I've been one since the 1970s! I know how proud and loyal we are. So, I asked another question: "What about the Pittsburgh Sports fans... Pro and College? Why can't we have our brand with our logo?" And then... PITTFANS was born!

Now I had even more questions... What about apparel? Did I want to buy the cheap stuff from China and sell at a huge mark-up? NO. Did I want to beg permission from all the "leagues" to use their "official" names? NO. Did I need Sponsor logos all over the merch? NO. Did I want my customers to pay for shipping? NO.

So, I decided on what I do want.
